HoverPoint Drones Heads to the 2025 Commercial UAV Expo
I am excited to announce that this year HoverPoint Drones will be attending the 2025 Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas. This event is one of the premier gatherings in the drone industry and brings together manufacturers service providers regulators and enterprise users across construction insurance energy infrastructure and more. As a professional drone services company that thrives on innovation I know this Expo will be a powerful opportunity to connect with peers, discover new technology, and bring fresh insights back to our clients.
Why We’re Excited
First and foremost we will get a firsthand look at cutting-edge platforms and sensors entering the commercial drone ecosystem. We already operate the DJI Matrice 4E for mapping and the Matrice 4T for combined visual and thermal inspections. This Expo gives us a chance to test new payloads partner with manufacturers and identify tools that could elevate our service offerings, whether that is greater battery endurance advanced analytics or automation extensions for DJI Terra and post-mission workflows.
Valuable Conversations and Collaboration
One of the highlights of attending Expo events is the meaningful dialogue we can have with industry experts and enterprise buyers. Our clients include construction managers, facility managers, property operators, and project teams who rely on consistent, reliable aerial insights. By engaging directly with drone architects, software innovators, and enterprise users, we not only stay ahead of industry trends but also make future upgrades meaningful—driven by real-world impact rather than hype.
Cross-Sector Innovation
The Expo always delivers breakthroughs by combining industries. From utilities using drones for asset inspection to logistics providers experimenting with drone deliveries, the convergence of use cases teaches us new ways to leverage our Matrice platforms. For example, integrating drone data with GIS systems or remote sensor networks—or exploring first responder use—can inspire new possibilities we can adapt for our clients in construction, facility management, and energy.
Demo Flights That Matter
Where possible, we aim to attend live flight demonstrations of emerging systems. Seeing how a drone performs under realistic conditions—whether under GPS-denied flight, bridging multi-site mapping, or thermal inspections of vertical structures—gives perspective that goes far beyond reading specs. These insights help us refine mission planning, ensure operational safety, and make aviation decisions grounded in real-world experience.
What Clients Can Expect from This Visit
Once the Expo concludes we’ll distill our findings into actionable insights for our clients and prospects. This means updated information on new drone platforms, insights into improved sensor capability (like higher-resolution thermal imaging or smarter AI plug-ins), and potentially early access to beta or pilot programs. You’ll also get more sophisticated methods from our team when it comes to mapping, inspections, or cinematic storytelling using the Avata 2.
Live Updates Via Social and Newsletter
During the Expo, we’ll be sharing live updates over on our LinkedIn and Instagram channels. If you follow us there you’ll catch behind-the-scenes footage, product highlights, and quick takes on trends shaping the next generation of drone work. Afterward, expect a full blog wrap-up with key takeaways for our verticals in construction, roofing, HVAC maintenance, and real estate documentation.
New Ideas to Explore
Improved BVLOS workflows following news from regulators and manufacturers.
Smarter automation in drone operations with real-time AI processing.
Expanded use of thermal inspection in preventive maintenance.
Complementary sensor packages for indoor/outdoor convergence or confined-space inspections.
Come Say Hello
If you plan to attend the Commercial UAV Expo too, please come say hello. I would welcome the chance to discuss how HoverPoint Drones is using DJI Matrice systems to deliver commercial value, and to learn what challenges you are facing in mapping, inspections, or visual storytelling. My visit is as much about building relationships as discovering technology.
Attending the 2025 Commercial UAV Expo underlines our commitment to staying on the cutting edge for our clients. HoverPoint is more than a drone service provider — we are strategists in aerial intelligence, delivering tools and insights that empower your decisions. Stay tuned for insights fresh off the showroom floor and for innovations poised to take our missions—and your projects—to a new level.
